This Privacy Policy describes how ExMan (Expense Manager) ("we", "us", "our", or the "App") handles your information when you use our mobile application. ExMan helps you track income and expenses, categorize transactions, view charts, and sync your data securely.

By using ExMan, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Plain-English summary: We collect only what's needed to run the app, encrypt your financial data, never sell your personal information, and you can request account deletion anytime.

  • Account information: name, email, profile photo, and authentication details when you sign in (e.g. via Google).
  • Financial data: income and expense entries, amounts, categories, dates, notes, and related metadata you enter in the app.

  • Device & technical info: device model, OS version, app version, language, and crash logs.
  • Usage data: features used and session activity in aggregated form for analytics and improvements.
We do not collect: full bank account or card numbers. We do not sell your personal data to advertisers.

  • Create and manage your account and authenticate you.
  • Store and sync your income, expenses, categories, and settings.
  • Display charts, summaries, and calendar views of your transactions.
  • Improve the App through analytics and crash diagnostics.

  • Google Sign-In — optional one-tap login.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure (Google Firebase / Google Cloud). We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and encrypt sensitive financial data before storage. While we take reasonable precautions, no system is 100% secure — keep your login credentials private.

Data Retention

  • We retain your data while your account is active.
  • After account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days, except where law requires longer retention.
  • Anonymized analytics may be kept longer as they no longer identify you.

Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data, and to withdraw consent for optional features.

Children's Privacy

ExMan is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
